Case: How a Brand Grew 10x

A small handmade candle brand: two founders, one Instagram account, roughly 40 orders a month. Six months later, 400 orders a month. The ad budget didn't change. What changed was the page behind the single link in their profile, and the habit of reading it.

Starting point

  • The bio link went straight to the store homepage.
  • The product featured in Stories was different from the first product shown in the store.
  • Nobody knew which posts were driving sales.

Month 1: build the page

A bio link page on LinkSpot: product of the week at the top (product card), three collection links below it, a WhatsApp order button and an email form. The theme was matched to the brand's cream and terracotta colors.

Month 2: start measuring

Separate UTM parameters for Story, bio and Reels links. First finding: 70% of visitors came from Stories, but Reels visitors bought twice as often. Reels frequency went up.

Month 3: shorten the path

The product card was linked directly to the product page; the number of steps to the cart dropped from four to two. Click-through rate rose from 28% to 41%.

Month 4: build the list

A “Be the first to know when a new scent drops” form collected 1,200 subscribers. A monthly email doubled first-day sales at every launch.

Months 5-6: connect the physical

A dynamic QR code was added to product boxes, pointing to the bio link page. Repeat order rate climbed from 12% to 31%. Because the QR is dynamic, the print never had to be redone when the destination changed.

Result

Monthly orders 40 → 400. Page views up 4x, click-through rate up 1.5x, repeat orders up 2.5x; multiplied together, that's 10x. The recipe isn't a new tool; it's taking the single link seriously.
