This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, SDKs) Linkspot.bio uses on linkspot.bio, its subdomains and pages published on our users' custom domains, why we use them and how you can manage them. For how we handle personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed in your browser by a website you visit. It keeps you signed in, remembers your preferences and helps us understand how the site is used. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period.

2.3 Analytics (consent required)
Used to give page owners aggregate statistics such as views, clicks, device and country breakdowns. The visitor identifier is a hash of the IP address and browser details with a salt that rotates daily; the IP address is not stored and there is no cross-site tracking.

2.4 Third-party cookies (consent required)
Page owners may add conversion tools such as the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics / Tag Manager or TikTok Pixel, and embedded content from YouTube, Spotify, Instagram or Calendly may set its own cookies. These are governed by the provider's policy and load only after you consent on the page. Provider policies: Meta, Google, TikTok.
3. Managing cookies
- Consent banner: accept or decline analytics and third-party cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
- Browser settings: every browser lets you delete and block cookies: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or break features.
- Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track: if your browser sends a GPC signal we treat analytics cookies as declined by default.
4. Note for page owners
When you add pixels or third-party embeds to your page, you are responsible for informing your visitors and obtaining any required consent. Linkspot shows the consent banner on your page automatically and does not load pixel code until consent is given.
