Reading Your Analytics the Right Way

The Analytics tab shows a lot of numbers, and they're not all equally important. Here are the five metrics that regular readers of bio link and QR menu analytics look at, and what each one tells you.

1. Views and unique visitors

Views are the volume of traffic; unique visitors are the number of real people. A high ratio means the same people keep coming back: a loyal audience, or visitors who can't find what they're looking for. Read it together with the click-through rate.

2. Click-through rate

Clicks / views. On a bio link page, 30-50% is good; below that, review your ordering and link text. This is the single most important metric.

3. Clicks per link

Which links are working and which are just taking up space. A link with no clicks in the last 30 days should be removed or moved down.

4. Source and UTM

Instagram, TikTok, QR code, direct. If you use UTM parameters, you'll see it broken down by campaign. Click-through rate per source tells you which platform brings visitors with real intent.

5. Device, country and time

Mobile share is usually above 85%; if desktop is high, check your page on a wide screen too. Country distribution informs your multi-language decision, and the time distribution informs when you post.

What not to look at

Daily ups and downs. Compare weekly and 30-day views; never decide based on a single day.

The QR menu side

Menu analytics additionally show the most-viewed item, category interest, orders and social clicks. The logic is the same: volume, rate, breakdown.

Privacy

Visitor identity is a daily salted hash; IPs are not stored. The retention period is set from the dashboard and stated in your privacy text.
