Try Before You Sign Up: Biolink, QR Menu and QR Codes with the Demo Account
If you're one of the many people who would rather not fill in a sign-up form before trying a tool, this post is for you. LinkSpot now has a demo account: no email, no password to invent, just open the dashboard and play with all three products.
What is the demo account?
A permanent, undeletable and read-only account that lives in the system. It comes with a ready-made biolink (/u/demo), a sample QR menu (/m/demo) and three different QR code designs. You can click on everything in the dashboard; when you hit save, the system politely tells you that changes aren't saved on the demo account, and nothing is written.
Where do I get in?
- Demo pages:
/demo/biolink,/demo/qr-menuand/demo/qr-codeeach offer a live preview, copyable login details and a one-click "Try it in the dashboard" button. - Login details: the demo email and password are printed right on the page; an administrator can change the password from the admin panel if needed.
- Duration: a demo session lasts 30 minutes. When time runs out you're signed out, and you can sign back in right away.
What can you try?
- In the biolink editor, add blocks, switch themes and watch the live preview in phone, tablet and desktop views.
- In the QR menu editor, browse categories and products, and switch between ten design shells and four navigation styles instantly.
- In the QR code editor, experiment with colors, corner styles and logo placement; the download button works.
Why read-only?
The demo account is open to everyone. To make sure the next visitor never lands on a broken sample after someone hits save, the database layer blocks write requests for this account. That keeps the demo clean and identical in every language, all the time.
