Business info and search engine visibility

For many businesses the QR menu is their only page on the web. Filling in business details helps guests and helps the menu be found in search.

Business info

Open the Business tab in the editor. You can fill in:

  • About — a sentence or two about the business.
  • Address and map link — the address becomes a link if you provide a map URL.
  • Phone and e-mail — the phone number is a tappable link on mobile.
  • Wi-Fi password — the thing guests ask for most; printing it in the menu spares your staff.
  • Opening hours — day by day; days you leave empty don't appear.

Empty fields aren't rendered at all, so no half-filled card shows up.

Search engine visibility

On the SEO tab:

  • Visible to search engineson by default. Turning it off adds noindex to the menu and removes it from the sitemap. Switch it off if the menu is for internal use only.
  • Title and description — the text shown in search results. Left empty, the menu name and tagline are used. The counters help you stay within the limits.
  • Share image — the picture that appears when the link is shared on WhatsApp or Instagram.

Published menus with visibility on are added to the sitemap automatically; there's nothing else to do.

Removing the footer branding

On eligible plans the branding line at the bottom of the menu can be removed from the SEO tab. If your plan doesn't include it the option is shown locked, and because it's also checked on the server it can't be removed another way.
